Assunnah Masjid Rebuild Project

The Assunnah Masjid Rebuild Project is a collaborative effort aimed at reconstructing and modernizing our existing mosque to better serve the needs of our community. We are committed to creating a functional, sustainable, and welcoming place of worship that fosters spiritual growth, community engagement, and physical well-being.

We are embarking on a vital project to expand our mosque’s capacity and facilities to better serve the local community. The Rebuild Project will create a space that not only accommodates more worshippers but also provides improved accessibility and facilities for education, counseling, and community activities.

Key Aims of the Project

Future Capacity

The new mosque will accommodate up to 2,500 worshippers, significantly increasing our ability to welcome more congregants during Jumu’ah prayers, Ramadan, and other key religious events.

Expanded Madrasah

With the larger space, we will be able to serve more students through our madrasah, creating an environment that fosters Islamic learning for the next generation.

Improved Visitor Experience

The expanded Wudhu and toilet facilities will ensure a more comfortable and seamless experience for worshippers, especially during peak times.

Multipurpose Halls

We will introduce multipurpose halls to facilitate community events, educational workshops, social engagement, and youth activities, helping to build a stronger community spirit.

Dedicated Janazah Facilities

New Janazah (funeral) facilities will provide essential services for families in times of bereavement, ensuring dignified and respectful spaces for funeral prayers and services.

Counseling and Dawah

Our rebuilt mosque will feature dedicated spaces for counseling and dawah (Islamic outreach) programs, allowing us to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the community.

Accessibility

The mosque will be fully accessible to all, including ramps and lifts to accommodate those with mobility challenges, ensuring everyone can participate fully in our activities.
